内容記述 This article reviews studies on the return trip effect. The return trip effect is an effect one feels that time to return is shorter than going even though distance-time is just the same. In previous studies, "return trip effect" is deemed to occur in postdictive time estimations, but not occur in time perception in real time. However, we argue that previous studies are not capable of dealing with time perception in real time for two reasons; (1) ecological validity of experimental method to estimate time perception in real time is low, and (2) a time experience model used in previous studies is inept at dealing with time perception in real time. We suggest to use a time experience model based on perception-action perspective (Gibson, 1979) in order to investigate "return trip effect" in time perception in real time.
