内容記述 This project is an attempt to track the lives of participants in Liberia's Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration(DDR)process based on the perceptions of their status and quality of life 20 years after the end of the civil war in 2003. We conducted a survey of 93 respondents made of a mix of ex-fighters and ordinary community dwellers who had never fought in the civil war in Bong County. The tranquil, at a glance but likely ambivalent relationship between ex-fighters and civilians highlights a way of structuring social interactions in the post-conflict Liberian context.
