内容記述 In the era of Society 5.0, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in English education marks a significant shift towards a more interconnected and technologically advanced learning environment. This study investigates the impact and potentials of AI applications in enhancing English language teaching and learning methodologies. With rapid technological advancements, particularly in AI, educational paradigms have evolved from traditional methods to more personalized and immersive experiences. Tools like ChatGPT have revolutionized English education by providing customized learning experiences that adapt to individual learner needs. The paper discusses key implementations of AI in English education, including real-time, interactive learning environments that use AI-driven analytics to offer a semantic and distributed processing of information. Additionally, the study examines AI's role in facilitating cross-cultural communication and international collaboration, significantly contributing to global literacy enhancement. The results show that AI supports the customization of vocabulary and grammar instruction based on learners' progress and enhances their ability to interact in English through automated, context-aware suggestions and corrections. These technologies have been crucial in creating more dynamic and engaging learning environments that support both teachers and learners. The implications of these findings indicate a significant shift towards personalized learning that respects individual learning paces and styles, potentially leading to higher educational quality and accessibility in English language education. The integration of AI in educational settings challenges traditional teaching methodologies and proposes a new model of blended learning that leverages digital innovations to enhance learning outcomes. This study lays the groundwork for further exploration into the effective integration of AI in language education, highlighting the need for continuous adaptation and learning among educators to fully harness the potential of AI in education.
