内容記述 The main purpose of this study is to examine the social images created by the stressful events experienced by the hearing-impaired and their coping behaviors. Fifty-three female university students were recruited as the subjects and asked to complete a questionnaire related to the stressful events that hearing-impaired people experience and their ways of coping with hearing loss. All of the participant responses were analyzed using a text mining method. Based on their descriptions, the results are discussed in light of what should be given priority with regard to educational activities in order to deepen our understanding of the hearing-impaired and their coping behaviors.
