description The tools used in speech-language-hearing rehabilitation are still primarily traditional items such as paper and writing utensils, building blocks, paper cards, and stopwatches. However, in recent years, as the use of information and communication technology (ICT) and related equipment has become inexpensive, there are increasing reports of supplementary use of ICT devices in this field as well. In this paper, we provide an overview of how it is currently being used in medical speech-language-hearing rehabilitation, focusing on research published in domestic journals, and discuss future issues from the perspectives of its usefulness in outpatient neurological rehabilitation.
